Modulisme Session 029 und 030: Die französischen Modular-Synthesizer-Musiker Fa Césario und Julien Palomo

Fa Césario (b. 1973 in Marseille) has been a rap musician and producer in his home town, and since the end of the 90s, has been exploring the fields of noise, poetry and improvised music.
Playing about a hundred concerts per year, building for each concert an instrument or a different system (set open system), though he paid very little attention to the recording of his music favoring the live aspect.
Césario is particularly interested in the sensitive aspect often absent from electronic productions. He likes to explore the limits of his instrument, push further its possibilities and ratio of resistance and to a way of including the error as the engine of his musical possibilities. Check his biography.

Julien Palomo lives in Paris and likes to be discreet even if he has been active in experimental scenes for quite some time now … Founder of the label Improvising Beings, devoted to improvisation, provoking encounters, having released around a dozen of albums, and, at the same time, paying homage to an underestimated part of the radical musics of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, especially Free Jazz but not only as proof that wonderful 4 CD Box gathering some seminal works by Jean-Marc Foussat, the French pioneer of the Synthi AKS.
He also records under the name boubi’s.
By listening to this Modular Session, you can hear that Julien Palomo “speaks fluenty” the languages of EMS and ARP.
